Добавление объектов

Под объектами в данном случае подразумеваются дополнительные элементы, такие как текстовые блоки, изображения, фигуры, линии и штрих-коды. Инструменты взаимодействия позволяют менять позицию выбранного объекта, то есть переместить его на передний или задний план, а также полностью ограничить его перемещение.

Изображения

Картинки добавляются в проект тремя способами. Это прямая загрузка с жесткого диска, вставка из буфера обмена и захват данных со сканера.

Текстовые блоки

Тексты помещаются на обложку в виде блоков. При создании элемента можно настроить шрифт, цвет, размер, а также повернуть строку.

Фигуры

Программа предлагает несколько инструментов для создания фигур. Это прямоугольник, эллипс и прямая линия. Редактируются такие элементы с помощью вспомогательной панели. Возможности настройки ограничены оттенком и толщиной обводки, а также заливки тела фигуры линиями, сеткой или сплошным цветом.

Штрих-коды

К сожалению, софт не умеет самостоятельно шифровать штрих-коды. При внедрении данного элемента можно лишь выбрать его тип, а код придется сгенерировать с помощью онлайн-сервиса или специального приложения.

Эффекты

Все добавленные в проект изображения, в том числе и фоновые, можно подвергнуть обработке с помощью эффектов и фильтров. В соответствующем блоке меню представлены такие инструменты, как отражение, поворот, размытие, коррекция яркости и контраста, обесцвечивания и конвертирования в негатив, придание рельефа, выделения контуров и волнообразного искажения.

Чтение компакт-дисков

Данная функция позволяет считывать метаданные – название альбома, имя исполнителя, жанр, длительность дорожки и прочих — с музыкальных дисков и вставлять их в проект. При этом также меняется и название на главной странице обложки.

A collection of CDs or DVDs will always look better if every item is labeled properly. With conventional tools, covers will never come out right. The size of your box art may look correct on the screen, but it will be different once it comes out of the printer. Using CD & DVD Box Labeler Pro, your only concern will be what images or colors to use. With its easy to handle tools, you may customize your CD cover easy and fast.

The program is compatible with Windows 98 and all the later versions, including Vista and Win 7. CD & DVD Box Labeler Pro is freeware and it can be downloaded and installed swiftly.

The main area of the interface is where you can design your covers. It is possible to switch to similar editing areas by clicking the buttons on the left edge of the window. Each area is associated with the front label, the inside front, back label, CD Label and DVD cover. This makes it possible to edit each label, in parallel, in the same project.

The working area has a default size, so when you print your labels, they will fit the CD case perfectly. Using the options on the toolbar, you can insert images, solid colors or text on the background. They will not be added as items which you can move around with click and drag items. Text can be resized and aligned with the aid of the toolbar buttons and images will be fitted automatically on the editing area.

Images and other objects can still be added as movable items with different options from the toolbar. This works just like in other image editors. After clicking one of these options, you need to draw a rectangle by clicking and dragging over the editing area. To get a better idea on what you can insert and to make your work go faster, you can bring up a toolbox by clicking the appropriate option in the Tools menu.

The toolbox will appear in a separate window and it contains options for inserting images, text (background or movable), simple shapes, like rectangles, ellipses or lines. You can also find an option for adding different types of bar codes. If you do not want to move an inserted object by mistake, you can lock it into place by selecting it and clicking the Lock button in the toolbox.

Pros:
The interface’s design makes it possible to design labels with minimum effort. The printed labels will be a perfect fit for your CD cases and you will not have to make tedious size adjustments.

Cons:
It is not possible to resize background images if they are stretched or compressed.
